A dream or a goal is a desired result a person envisions, plans, and commits to achieve. – A personal or organizational desired end-point. Many people endeavor to reach goals within a finite time by setting deadlines. Designing your dream life goes much further and deeper than that.

The dictionary definition of a dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions and sensations that occur, involving the mind during sleep. In modern times, dreams have been seen as a connection to the unconscious mind. It has been observed that dreams can make creative thoughts occur and give a sense of inspiration.

Daydreams, as a result of that connection to the unconscious mind, are our gateway to creativity and problem solving. They keep our life’s agenda in front of us, reminding us of upcoming attractions in our lives.

Dreams are like playing a film in our head. Psychologists have found that everything has a first creation, in our minds. The second creation then occurs in physical manifestation. If we can dream it, we can indeed bring it to life!

Dreams are the foundations of our goals, which go on to become our successes. Every man is “the captain of his own ship, the master of his own destiny” (The Catalyst). In order to live our dreams, we must first dream!! Planning and designing your dream life is certainly worth doing.
The rewards are immense. However, it is not very easy. The good news is, there is help!

This is how you can design your dream life.

Your Dream Life can be analyzed in the following compartments:

1. Educational/ Personal Development

2. Spiritual Accomplishments

3. Financial/Material Achievements

4. Career/ Business Achievements

5. Physical/Social Achievements

In dreaming up your perfect life, you must dream about all you want to achieve in your life.
Your dreams should not be one-sided or single dimensioned. It is necessary to dream about all important aspects of your life to live a full rich life. Remember, man is a SPIRIT, has a SOUL and lives in a BODY. Therefore a perfect life must involve SPIRIT, SOUL and BODY

1. Educational/ Personal Development

Learning is probably the singular most important activity in Life. A learning and growing life
is a Life worth living. Educational is the doorway to all great desires in Life. The key to every
one of Life’s challenges has been neatly tucked away in one book or another. Simply reading
it unlocks your greatness. Think about the education you need to achieve the Life you have
dreamt up for yourself. What form is it? Do you need to get formal classroom education?,
take a vocational course?, an executive MBA? Draw up your Personal Development plan
and look at the skills and competencies you currently have versus those you need to live
your dream life.

2. Spiritual Accomplishments
Our Spirit is probably the hardest part of our Life to come to terms with as we are limited to dealing with spiritual matters in a physical realm.

We simply don’t have the correct units or measures to calibrate our spiritual lifes, but try we must.
Most attempts at looking at the Spirit Life do so from the religious angle, because it is in religious pursuit that we most closely come across measures that touch our Spirit man.
However, it is important to note that religion and spirituality are not the same thing.

As a matter of fact, they can sometimes be conversely related! Dreaming up your perfect Spiritual life requires deep thought and meditation on your inner man and how you would like him to grow.
Your perfect Spiritual life would be closely intertwined with your deepest value systems and dreams of who you want to be when you eventually shake off the earthly garment of the body you are in!

3. Financial/Material Achievements

Our dream financial life is easy to articulate. Dream by numbers! List the financial resources you need to live your dream life as well as the material possessions you would love to acquire. Financial resources are a great enabler to a productive life. Money, in our modern
day society, enables one to build a platform and share their voice.

Dreaming up your financial achievements fuels one to get productive to serve, create value to receive the rewards of wealth. Dream rich, dream BIG

4. Career/Business Achievements

Your career or business is your footprint in the world of commerce. It is the pathway to success, recognition, service and purpose.Dream up your most powerful, grandest career and business dreams.

Picture yourself at the helm of affairs in your office, making decisions, changing lives. Where would you be working? Would you be an Executive or an Entrepreneur? What markets would you be serving?

5. Physical/ Social Achievements

This is an area of life where we tend not to be as deliberate as we should. Its important to note that we can dream up a great body, a great social life, great friends and live a life of meaningful activity just by deliberating dreaming up this life and living out our dreams. By dreaming up great physical and social achievements, we set ourselves up for happiness. Happiness isn’t something that happens by accident. It’s a choice! Choose happiness by dreaming up a great physical and social life. We will show you how!

Remember to take the time to dream up your Perfect Life. It doesn’t happen by accident but by deliberate thought, focus, grit and determination. Once you start the film playing in your head, you will subconsciously begin to do the things you need to do, to get you to that Perfect end.
